BUTTERFLIES ARE FREE! Open House Saturday

Bring the entire family to learn about butterflies! You’ll be able to view them up close in our butterfly aviary tent. (Every butterfly will be collected on the preserve and released without harm.) There will be free kids crafts, as always!

TREE GREET Open House Saturday

Take a walk with two tree experts – Ben Lyle, Forester, KY Division of Forestry and Mike Huff, Buildings & Grounds Manager at CMNP – and learn how to identify and appreciate our local trees. Free crafts for kids in the Nature Center.

With spooky trails, the popular Haunted House, wagon rides, refreshments, costume contests, crafts, bouncies, and more, this event is a highlight of the year for hundreds of families!

The Nature of Christmas in Goshen
Saturday, December 4, 12 – 3 p.m., FREE
There’s no better way to get in the holiday spirit than to bring the entire family to this event, co-hosted by the City of Goshen! Enjoy free chili and hot chocolate, a visit with Santa & Mrs. Claus, presents for the first 250 kids, live Christmas carolers, a bon fire, wagon rides, and gift booths.
