Give a Memorial

You can remember a loved one by planting a memorial tree at Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve. This horse chestnut tree blooming on the hillside near the Spring House was donated by the Goshen Post Office in memory of Jonathon Powell. Gerry Keifer lived near the Nature Preserve and walked her dog here regularly. A red dogwood was dedicated to her memory on May 19th at NatureFest.

Trees, flowers and shrubs can keep you close to someone who is deceased, but they can also be given in honor of someone still living – for a birth, graduation, or other celebration. Couples who marry here like to plant a Sweetheart Tree representing their relationship. To learn more, call (502) 228-4362 or email us at info@creaseymahannaturepreserve.org.

Donation amount for a memorial tree is $600, which includes the tree purchase, installation, tree bag watering system, and 1-year maintenance.
